william orbit feat Gwyneth Paltrow - grey green season: "Orbit Stream Cast"
Have I ever mentioned how much I love William Orbit? Pretty much every thing he touches is golden. He has an amazing ability to make good singers sound great, and great singers sound amazing. His work is really almost like an aural collage or sculpture...layering sound upon sound until, at last, he's got a really lovely composition.
I know a lot of folks don't love Techno, or "electronic" music...But I am sure my parents will remember how I used to dance around our living room to my dad's "Switched On Bach" album.
I came upon this song on one of his stream casters on his website. I hope you all enjoy it!

I thought it was kind of weird when it started, but I think it must grow on you!
Orbit has been a real inspiration to me. I listen to him all the time skating, and even when I work. This particular song really brings out Paltrow's lovely voice. And it allows her to sound like she is, instead of having to sing stilted lyrics as a country music star.
